I always love reading posts like these. It takes me back to my Myspace days (sort of) and I miss those. The days when the most important things were who held the spots in your Top 8 and what you were gonna do on a Friday night. No bills. No responsibilities. Just living life. When the sweet and funny Beth tagged me, I got really a little excited. I mean it’s kinda like being picked to be on her kickball team in gym class and not by default because you were the last person left (no I’m not speaking from experience). And apparently, I get to make my own kickball team at the end, so stay tuned for that.1. What is the best piece of advice anyone has given you?
“You are made of better stuff than that” My mom has told me this time and time again and I’m sure she’ll tell me that again. And I’m sure her mom told her that quite a few times in her life as well. I tend to be a little dramatic sometimes and end up making an ant hill into a mole hill. I talk to my mom everyday and value her opinion, therefore she sees me at my worst and she sees me at my best, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
2. If you could meet any blogger in person, who would you choose?
See. That’s the hard part. I can’t pick just one. But if someone was making me, I’d choose Brin. And well I get to see her in 62 days, so there!
3. What’s your biggest struggle in life?
Letting go. I want to see the good in everyone and I always end up wanting to give the people who have treated me the worst, the most chances. I have to learn that if someone wants to be in my life, they will. If they truly love and care about me, they will show it. If I mean as much to them, as they do to me, they will act like it.
4. What’s something you love about yourself?
My sense of family. My family is without a doubt the most important part of my life. And not just my parents and my brother, but all of my family. You can’t get memories back and therefore, come hell or high water I will always put them first.
5. Favorite thing to do in your spare time.
Watch girly movies and veg out on the couch. You know I never understood why they called it “veg out” cause I’m certainly not eating veggies…
6. Who inspires you?
My brother. He has worked SO hard to get where he is today and I couldn’t be more proud. While I’m going to school for me, I also want to finish for him. He has pushed me to finish and I’m so glad that I’m halfway there.
